Victoria, from Greenock
Victoria and her husband tied the not at Brig O’Doon House Hotel in May. She was gorgeous in Thorn by House of Savin, which she said “yes” to with our Glasgow team!
Tell us a bit about your day!
We had a perfect day - couldn't have imagined or hoped for anything better! It was so special to have our loved ones altogether and having the absolute best time. We have so many lovely memories to look back on now, wish we could do it all over again!
How did you end up finding 'the one'?
With the help of Kirsty I found my dress. I had a look online before my appointment and selected some so on the day at my appointment I put pegs on those I had looked at, however, none of them suited. Kirsty then pulled a dress for me to try on and that was 'the one'! I couldn't believe it! I knew as soon as I put it on and I couldn't be more thankful for Kirsty knowing what style I was after and pulling a dress I had overlooked.
What did you love about being a bride of The White Collection?
The experience was second to none. We were made to feel so relaxed and not pressured at all during my appointment. The store is really comfortable and the private rooms make the occasion even more special. Both times visiting - to choose my dress and collect - were both great and having Kirsty there both times really rounded off the experience with TWC perfectly.
Did you have bridesmaids? How did you involve them in the wedding and how did you decide on their wedding wardrobe?
I had 2 Bridesmaids and a Bridesman. I knew from the get go I wanted my colours to be moss green and peach. The girls wore satin moss green dress, different styles, and my bridesman wore the same kilt outfit as the grooms party but instead with a moss green tie to match the girls' dress. The girls then had peach and white floral bouquets and my bridesman had a peach frilly buttonhole to finish off the outfits. They looked fantastic!
What was your favourite part of the day?
Spending time celebrating with our loved ones - laughing and dancing and also seeing everyone else enjoying themselves while we had our photos taken. It was a beautiful, mild sunny day for our wedding so guests were able to be outside in the garden area and our photos were up on the bridge so we were able to look on and see our guests. Just so memorable!
