Lovely Abigail was styled by our Glasgow team and looked radiant in Evan by Rosa Clara! She said “I do” to her husband at Le Petit Chateau in January.
Tell us a bit about your day!
We had the perfect winter wedding in early 2025 at Le Petit Chateau located in Northumberland - it was just the most special and magical day filled with nods to blending my Scottish roots with my now husband’s Geordie roots!
How did you end up finding 'the one'?
TWC was the second shop I visited - I only had 6 months to plan our wedding, and found TWC because it was one of few bridal shops that had Sunday appointments!
I knew I wanted a dress that I was comfortable in and could easily dance in - when I put my dress on I immediately knew it was the one and when we added the sparkly veil - that was it!!
What did you love about being a The White Collection bride?
The service was the BEST! Having been to a few bridal shops over the past few years for my sister’s wedding and friend’s wedding - the care an attention we had the minute we walked through the door until I picked up my dress was 10/10! So warm, welcoming and brilliant at making the whole experience so special - from my name on the suite door, the “YES” Polaroid, the gorgeous dress box etc, and the gorgeous flowers! Wow wow wow!
I loved the service so much that I had to recommend TWC to a family friend who has recently got her dress from there too!
Did you have bridesmaids? How did you involve them in the wedding and how did you decide on their wedding wardrobe?
I just had my sister as my maid of honour. It was special to share the day with just having my sister as my side of the bridal party - it just made it super special before walking down the aisle because it was just the myself, her, my mum, and my dad - so it was lovely just being the four of us!
As she lives in England, we ended up doing online orders delivered to her. I gave her free rein on style - I just prescribed the colour scheme (dark green) so I didn’t actually see the dress until about a month before the wedding in person!!
What was your favourite part of the day?
A tough one! I think between getting to wear an unreal dress all day, the dancing at night and going out into the snow for our photos!
