Tell us a bit about your day!
My husband Patrick and I tied the knot (literally!) with all of our amazing friends and family at beautiful Boturich Castle. Our ceremony was held in the Pavilion overlooking Loch Lomond. My husband is Australian so we were also so lucky to have so many of his side travel all the way from Australia to celebrate with us. It was truly the best day of our lives. Good food and music are important to us so we picked this venue as we knew they would really look after our guests. We also incorporated a lot of traditional Scottish music into our day such as a clàrsach player, fiddle player, bagpipes, drums and a ceilidh band. One of the many highlights was having the Aussies donning kilts and I think they enjoyed wearing them. Dancing into the late evening with our loved ones and the stunning backdrop of Loch Lomond is a memory we’ll never forget.
How did you end up finding 'the one'?
After spending quite some time looking around I fell in love with Haven by MWL. I noticed The White Collection in Glasgow was one of the few stockists near me, so my angel of a sister called the store to see if it was in stock. Luckily it was and we managed to secure a dress try on appointment within a day!
What did you love about being a bride of The White Collection?
Katie was looking after me and I just felt like I was in amazing hands from the initial meeting right up until we took the dress home. She was so kind and understanding. She listened to my concerns and gave me invaluable advice when it came to deciding on the dress and picking a veil. I didn’t feel rushed to make any decisions at any point which I was grateful for as Katie understood how overwhelming dress shopping can be.
Did you have bridesmaids? How did you involve them in the wedding and how did you decide on their wedding wardrobe?
My sister was my maid of honour. Two of my lifelong best friends were bridesmaids and I also had one bridesman! They are all beautiful with their own unique sense of style so I wanted them to feel comfortable on the day and free to express their own style. The dresses were sage green and satin but the girls picked their own style of dress. They also chose their own hairstyles, make up and accessories. My bridesman wore his own kilt but with a sage green satin bow tie that matched the bridesmaids dresses!
What was your favourite part of the day?: Getting married to my lovely and handsome husband Patrick was my favourite part but the whole day couldn’t have been more perfect.

Google Review:
I had the best experience picking a dress at TWC Glasgow. I felt like I was in amazing hands with Katie from the start, right up until we took the dress home. I even received a gorgeous bouquet of flowers which was totally unexpected and so kind and generous! I’d really recommend TWC to any future brides. Dress shopping can be overwhelming, but the girls at TWC are incredible and really made it a lovely experience all round. Thank you again!
